Terms
The main terms for website projects and Website Care, in plain English. Your written quote sets out the exact scope and price for your project.
Quotes and scope
Every project starts with a written quote listing what is included, what is not, the number of revision rounds, the start date and the price. Work outside the quote is priced and agreed in writing before we start it.
Payments
A 50% deposit confirms your start date. The remaining 50% is due when you approve the finished site, before it goes live. Prices are shown excluding VAT, and VAT is added where it applies.
Your materials
You supply the text, photos, logo and other content, and confirm you have the right to use them. If materials arrive late, the launch date moves by the same amount of time.
Revisions
Each package includes two revision rounds. A round is one list of changes sent together. Extra rounds are quoted before we do them.
Ownership
Once paid in full, the website design and content are yours. Your domain is registered in your name. Third-party tools and fonts stay under their own licences, which we list at handover.
Cancelling a project
If you cancel after work has started, the deposit covers work done up to that point. If we cannot complete the project, we refund any payment for work not yet delivered.
Website Care
Website Care is billed monthly and can be cancelled with one month's notice. When you leave, we move your site and domain to you or your new provider at no charge.
