Which ending?

Ending	Best for	Rules
.ie	Businesses with customers in Ireland	You need a real connection to Ireland, such as an Irish address or business registration.
.com	Reaching customers in any country	Open to anyone. Short names are often taken or sold at premium prices.
.eu	Selling across the European Union	For people and organisations based in the EU or EEA.
.shop	Online shops	Open to anyone. Compare the first-year and renewal prices: they often differ a lot.

In your name

Your business should be the registered owner, not your web designer.

Renewal price

Compare the price for year two, not only the first-year offer.

Auto-renew

Keep a working email on the account so renewal reminders reach you.

Free to move

You should be able to move the domain to another provider without fees.

Hosting and registrars

Website Care clients don't need any of this: hosting is included and we register the domain in your name.

Hostinger

The hosting karkiventures.com runs on. Good value for small business sites; check the renewal price after the first term.
